Blazeclan Helped the Customer Migrate their eBao System to AWS Cloud and Reduce Infrastructure TCO

The customer is a leading insurance group in Singapore, a major reinsurer and risk carrier in the world. The company had adopted eBaoTech’s platform, which is a core system suite for the insurance industry. This platform offers entire lifecycle operations of the general insurance business, including new business, endorsements, claims, reinsurance, finance, and compensation with a high degree of flexibility, configuration, and automation.

The Need for AWS Cloud Migration

As part of their infrastructure modernization journey, the customer wanted to migrate their entire application suite to AWS. For a successful migration, it was critical for the customer to ensure that their core application is well-architected and migrated with security and effectiveness.

The General System Suite comprises of

A major challenge in moving the customer’s eBao platform to AWS cloud was having a precise understanding of this complex system as well as designing the right solution on AWS. In addition, this solution had to confer to the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s (MAS) strict TRM guidelines around data sovereignty and security.
